Bryce Ritter Custom Furniture specializes in creating distinctive reproduction furniture.

Each piece is handcrafted from old pine and other found wood, utilizing square nails and old world joinery techniques. The scratches, dents and effects of age are inherent in the materials. When combined with the imagination and artistry of Bryce Ritter and his craftsmen, the result is all the warmth and charm of original surfaces, colors and textures in furnishings made for everyday use.

Tomorrow's antiques

Some things just cannot be duplicated, like the texture and patina of a couple hundred years of use. "We're always looking for old lumber, doors, shutters, hardware and other things that catch our eye. If someone has a door from a home her grandparents owned or where she once lived, we'll happily build a cupboard around it. That makes a very special piece with a highly personal story."

Furniture, or art?

Carefully researched color combinations, along with the bright hues early furniture makers used, create palettes that are just as rich today as they were in centuries past.
